I love my Swift LT for Her but the pressure at times causes my mouth to open.  Still unable to find anything else comfortable that fits over nose & mouth.  Maybe next week?  Until then it's paper tape over my mouth at night.  My doctor said they have custom made ones in England too.  Wonder if a trip there were be a medical tax deduction?   LOL    Is it too much to want something that fits, stays on 90% of the time without major leaks and does not cause sores???

Hi Ginny, Did you take a look at Russel Macmillans chin/cheek strap ? Go to the blue banner at the top of the page and click on photos to see it. Might be better than adhesive.......Good Sleep,Chris

The 3M paper tape does not hurt me.  But I think I am not doing the lip thing correctly as my face still puffs!  Does that make any sense?  If I could find a mask that had pillows & covered correctly my mouth I would be in heaven (almost)  Have also used with no ill effects 3M durapore tape.  We call it "silk" tape at work.
It is so frustrating!   I still can't believe that in this day and age people in the USA can not have custom made ones readily available.  Looks like it would be cheaper in the long run to only have to get ONE at the start instead of going through a slew of them.  Have you tried the one I sent you?

Tried that and almost ripped my lips off in the morning. Tried this chinstrap? It's working 90% effective for me.(back strap still "rides-up" )Price isn't bad for it's quality- made- they improved it.

I don't think I could stand Russell's chin strap and I don't think it would stop the "cheek puffing of air" that is waking me up all night now.  I have to have a mask fitting.  Still no return call from Doc to set it up.  I still wonder why she did not tell me they had someone at their office to do this and loaner masks to try and then you can order from your own DME company.  I just want to get through all this constant thinking about C PAP!!!

What do your docs think of y'all taping your mouths?

I told her. She smiled and said it might not be a good idea, "during the night you might have a nasty bug/virus.  That was all she said. But even taping does not solve the problem.  I left it off the first part of last night.  My husband shaking me awake saying I was making a lot of "wind" noise.  (from my mouth!)  I assume my mouth had been blown open by the "tornado".  So back on went the tape.  Can't wait for the mask fitting next week.  I DO hope there is a solution for me. It will have to be either FF or a hybrid.  But need one that FITS!!!!!!
I have a brother in law that uses a nasal pillow mask that has received tape from his DME for use nightly. His lips were vibrating and waking his spouse. So, nightly he tapes up! Not sure I could handle that, although I am frustrated with my mask right now.
I wish I could hear from one person who had good results!!   :)  Seems like no one has satisfaction. I am starting to get worried!
