Although many have their favorites and will swear by them in this thread, there is no one best. There are quite a few excellent ones.

What I do is google and research the best deals. Then you can come back here and ask about the reliability of your top one or two choices.

thanks Paul I am checking it out now!!!!

I'm mainly between cpap.com for its wonderful service, and directhomemedical.com which ships by USPS (so it'll be in the parcel locker out by mailboxes when I get home, rather than having to take time off work to sign for UPS).

I also use cpap.com. One reason is that I can call them for free on skype from Taiwan and then an operator can offer advice to any problems I may have. Being an American in Taiwan this is very important because there are no support groups here.

One thing I'm puzzled about is that when I was having trouble with air leakage from my mask, I was told by cpap.com and someone here at sleep guide that the ResMed gel nazal mask usually lasts around 6 to 9 months. In light of this info, I bought a new one and threw the old one out. Later the ResMed rep in Taiwan said that the masks last a lot longer and my mask was perfectly good. What do you all think?

I use my hoses and masks for years. If they start leaking I get new ones.

Of course the suppliers have marketing materials warning you to replace them frequently. More sales for them of course.

Do a google search to find the best prices as Rooster suggest and then ask about the reliability on here.  I know I found my fave mask for almost half off doing that and was thrilled I was able to purchase 6 of them for theprice of one at our local DME.
Do you think that is really true, I just replaced my mask after 6 months and I can really tell a difference its not that the other or old was was bad if just lost some strength on the comfort gel but now that i think about it, if its not broke why are we fixing it. The masks are really expensive I paid only 69.00 for mine and it was a full mask not just the nasel and when I went to order it again it was 169. I have a funny feeling it was an error and had to give it to me at that price. They even took it down from Amazon....

I like cpapman.com; the man who runs it is very helpful if you talk to him on the phone, too.  His website has been redone recently and is much easier to use and always had helpful pictures of everything.
