I see my first post here was on March 18 after 3rd day of starting CPAP.  I just want anyone else that is new to this treatment to know that it really improves after a little time.  My current Swift LT for Her seems good.  It has become part of my night time routine.  Can't say it is something I would wish for but it is not nearly as bad as I had been told or expected.  Washed & disinfected all the "parts" today so ready for another week.  I do clean the pillows daily with warm soap & water & allow to dry. Hope this encourages someone else new. I thank the people who responded to my first post when I felt so helpless and discouraged. I am still waiting on the 2 week report from my data card.  I called the pulmonary Doc's office Friday (one week after turning card in to DME)  They still had not received the fax from the DME.  I am thinking of changing companies!

Glad to hear that things are going okay.  In the beginning it seems overwhelming, but eventually it levels off and becomes so routine that you almost forget about it.

I am glad that the Swift LT is working for you.

Call the DME and remind them that your doctor is waiting for the info.  I recently went to pick up a script at the pharmacy, after making sure the doc had called in the refill.  Pharmacy swore they didn't get the refill, doctor swears she sent it -- don't know which but after a couple of calls it was cleared up (and a complaint to the manager of the pharmacy).

Well, I'm waiting until Monday.  The office assistant (who is always reliable) at the MD office sai she would call and request it last Friday.  Yes, you ALMOST forget about the CPAP.  It does not even seem to be slipping off as much.  Maybe my head has changed it's shape.   :)
