Any spare masks for sale?
Hey guys. I haven't been on sleep-guide, logged in and posting for awhile. But I've been reading religiously almost every other day I stop by. Anyways as I'll reiterate, I was on a 2 yr waiting list to see a sleep specialist and decided to buy my own resmed cpap machine.
My dilemma is I cant buy masks and hoses on my own :( I need a prescrip. So anyone selling slightly used masks and hoses, the nasal kind that covers the entire nose? I'll buy a couple off of you guys? Thanks.

if you google "CPAP auction used forums" or similar,there are several forum message boards that sell stuff. It's best you get a fit first if you can, not any mask will fit, you probably will waste your money. Go to a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) supplier in your area, and make like you're going to buy a mask, and try some on, then tell them you need to check with the insurance to see if it's covered. Or say your wife handles the finances and you need to talk to her when she gets off work. :~)
