Hi Shuli,

My husband told me that there was something wrong. I had begun snoring very loudly and he said it looked like I was gasping for breath while I was sleeping. I knew right away that was a sign of SA. I also complained of being tired all the time and I had no energy to do anything. My energy was all expended at work and when I came home I just sat or went to bed. It was really affecting my lifestyle. I couldn't understand why I was always tired and I tried sleeping pills figuring I didn't sleep all night long, maybe that was the reason for me being tired. That didn't work either. I was always in pain all over my body too. I felt miserable and was going to ask the doctor for some help when my husband told me about my sleeping pattern. I knew right away what the problem was.

If you suspect you have sleep apnea then you probably do. You will need to see your doctor and talk with him or her about your complaints and tell him or her that you think you may have sleep apnea. You will be sent for a sleep study. That is what happened to me and that is how I was diagnosed.

I hope I was able to help you. I do wish you luck. Take care.

Welcome to the forum!!

Why do you think you may have sleep apnea? Has someone observed you in your sleep?
