Hi Julie. I've had sleep apnea and been on CPAP or BPAP for just over three years- not nearly as long as some of our members.
Good luck with the doc and whatever he prescribes. CPAP is not so bad- can take some us a little time getting used to the machine and mask. Some of us take to it like a fish to water.

Julie, as a fellow member of the forum I would like to welcome you to SleepGuide. Hope you get some answers to your question. MMA devices (dental) can be quite effective and may be an alternative since you can't use CPAP.
