Hey Josh,
I just started using the CPAP machine ~ 12 weeks ago and until about 10 days ago, I felt more tired than I ever did before the diagnosis. I reduced the amount of a beta blocker I was taking for hypertension to see if that would help ~ 4 weeks ago and it had some effect. The last 10 days, I have felt more normal and the best part is that my morning hyperhension has come down quite a bit. Give it some time.

Give yourself some time. It is important to keep trying. Usually most of us find the initial first few weeks to be hard, and feel even tired. It will get better it just takes time for our bodies to repay the sleep debt that has built up.

In my opinion the mask is the key to good therapy. You must find one that works for you and your willing to tolerate. It took me many masks, paid for out of pocket so I picked up slightly used masks for a fraction of the cost of new. I probably tried 12 or 15 masks before settling on the one I am currently using.

When was the last time you replaced your mask? Which machine are you using? Is it data capable? What type of mask are you using? Is it full face, nasal, nasal pillows, nasal prongs? If you could give us the name that is even better? What pressure are you on? What issues bother you the most?

Please keep coming back for support and read as much as you can on the forum.
