Sounds as if we share the same villian. Except I use the nasal pillows when I can keep the head gear on.
I have severe sleep apnea and am I trying to do something about it. Recently I started on Lunesta 3 mg and after a month I really don’t notice any difference. My Doctor reset my Respironics machine to full blast up in the 20’s later had to lower it to 14 that is when I discovered the ramp button. I can only keep my face apparatus on for only about 20 minutes then I throw it off. I have had several fittings with no avail.
I wish I could give you some positive hints, answers or remarks but not yet. I found out when I see my Doc it’s always the same visit. “How are you doing Jim?” “ Still can’t sleep Doc but hopefully I’m getting better. Then I tell her the same thing I always do that I wake up a lot at night and never reach Rem sleep. That’s when I got the scrip for Lunesta. Now don’t laugh but I also bought a Bushnell Trophy Cam, it’s a night vision camera. I am gathering 10 second movies of my sleep. Last night the camera caught 67 episodes. Let’s see if our next office visit isn’t a little more productive.
