Greg, thanks for writing. CPAP can be a new lease on life. I hate to say it, but I almost hope that sleep apnea is your problem because for most of us a simple CPAP machine can bring us back to life. It's really tough you've been suffering all these years with such fatigue, and being diabetic can really complicate matters. Keep us posted on how your test turns out.
I'm waiting to hear from a sleep lab now about an appointment for another sleep study and a MSLT because I still feel sleepy during the day.
That's good you got a new doc and your wife told you about your snoring and apnea. Both of them came as a complete surprise to me(sleep apnea and snoring), especially that I snored, but indeed I do.
Good Luck with everything, hope that Doctor called and you've got a diagnosis now. Keep us posted and thanks for listenening and writing.

Greg, thanks for adding me as a friend. I hope you're doing ok. Anxious to hear more about you. Untreated sleep apnea isn't necessarily a problem in day to day life, but sometimes it can make life very diffiicult.
