I am looking for advice regarding CPAP and infectious disease. A couple weeks ago I came down with a Staph infection, or MRCA, in my nostril. I have not used my CPAP machine since then as I have been waiting for the infection to clear up. I am concerned that the CPAP may have been the source of infection. Anyone else have this problem? I have had it now for a few weeks. I'm using a nasal mask - been on it for almost a year. Could it be from opening my mouth in my sleep?Any ideas?Continue

Gerald Allen said… I'm Gerald Allen, I want to welcome you. You can learn alot here. Let me tell you my tail. Some have changed masks some had to work thourgh this and stopped and cme back, But I tried masks amd psi from 18 to 14. it helped, but wasn't great. Found (you might not) I needed Oxyyen.
Not end of store, 4 years evolveing and doing better.
