Non compliance

I have been struggling for about 6 weeks to deal with the bipap machine and have not been having good luck.  Between coughing from new blood pressure meds, poorly fitting masks, and the general pain in the butt that this has become, my doc tells me that I have past the 30 day window that Medicare uses to get patients up to a compliance level and that the machine will soon be taken back by DME because of non-compliance.  The DME is telling me that the window is 90 days, not 30.  Is my doc just…See More

Trouble getting to sleep

I think I finally have my coughing problem resolved by eliminating the lysinopril BP medicine and now find that I have trouble getting to sleep.  Once asleep I seem to be able to make it through the night.  I have started melatonin but the pharmacist says that it sometimes takes up to several months for that to kick in.   Been on therapy with a BiPAP device for about 3 weeks and still struggling with the discomfort from the mask (Paykel Forma full face mask).  Many have told me to just hang in…See More
