After reading the article and seeing the myriad of discorders affecting children across the behavioral spectrum, it would seem screening for sleep disorders would be of great importance. If these kids are taking meds for ADD or hyperactivity, it seems that even though the meds are supposed to calm children down, they could have an adverse effect on sleep. Insomnia has got to be miserable for a child and the parents and screening for Sleep Apnea, if positive, a good alternative to drugs.
