susan, what is your real agenda here? People have done their best to answer your questions, but you keep repeating the same questions, as if you are not even reading the posts. CPAP is the gold standard treatment for sleep apnea, this site is about sleep apnea.
Exactly what is it you want us to tell you? Why are you not asking these questions of the docs who treat your various conditions?
I think you protest too much, susan.

hi susan how are you i mean you as a person
sleep apnea no body wants sleep apnea
should you have this problem and it is not treated or arrested somehow it can and will progress into esential hypotention, diabeties, central or combine sleeping disorder, myalgic encephilitus and the list goes on and on

how do you propose to tackle your problem without doing yourself harm do you have a different solution as we would like to know about it in order to evaluate our own situations

what you are saying make sence in an ideal world but we do live in a greedy world where everybody try to make money out of you yes you even the undertaker is on the make, resmed, your doctor, the insurance company, the government etc

do not cut off your own nose to prove a point as you are the one to suffer and only yourself to blame for non treatment of a serious condidtion

Sounds like you might need some xanax or some other sleep medication.

You might also want to try good sleep hygiene - going to bed at the same time every night (if possible), no caffeine after the noon hour, eliminating distractions... etc. I'd bring your issues up with your primary care physician - he should be able to help.

I meant to say Ambien. I said xanax... that is more for people that have panic disorders. Sorry for the mistake.

Thanks susan, glad to have you aboard. Keep posting! Formed any opinions? Feel any more confident about trying CPAP while you work out your other health issues? You raise some good questions. richard was posting some very similar feelings- he's a physicians Assistant on the forum- about finding the root cause of a problem and dealing with that.
