What types of refreshments should we serve at these meetings? Last night we had bottled water, veggie plate and sweets. Got called out by one physician for serving sweets. Tempted to go health food only at future meetings.
Come on people, you have to live a little. My vote would be for good coffee and pastrys like cannolis and Napoleons. And the coffee woul help keep us up for the meeting. lol
The People spoke and I listened: at last night's meeting we had an assortment of individually wrapped packages of fruit and nuts and pretzels, as well as bottled water. All in all, pretty healthy, right?
got some love for the snacks served at the last meeting via email: Michael: Thank you for an interesting and very informative meeting this past Wednesday. In addition to severe sleep apnea I have recently been diagnosed with Diabetes. I am on a very strict diet-low in carbs, fat, sugar and sodium. The snacks (the chips--not the pretzels) served at the meeting were very low in all of those and tasted very good. Do you know the name of them and/or the manufacturer? And where did you buy them?
