I know this is last minute, but if you're in the metro NY area, I'm co-hosting a joint breathing-yoga workshop with master yoga instructor Deborah Quilter tomorrow (5/13) at the Jewish Community Center on Manhattan's Upper West Side at 8PM . I'll give a talk about the importance of breathing, and Deborah will give a Feldenkrais lesson that can almost double your lung capacity.

Call 646-505-5708 to register or go to jccmanhattan.org.

This Saturday at 8:45 AM, I'm giving a talk on Breathing Disorders & Chronic Disease at the Many Paths One Medicine Traditional Chinese Medicine Course at the Hotel Pennsylvania on 7th Avenue and 33rd Street.

    Hope to see you there!

Can anyone recommend a sleep study place that takes Medicaid?

    Thanks

  • Janie Simmons

Danny, I believe you can see a doctor at Sleep and Pulmonary Associates of New York. Ask if Dr. Klapholz takes Medicaid. (I believe he does.) I see a primary care doc there as well and I KNOW she takes Medicaid, so I believe everyone does but you need to check. They open on Monday morning.  I highly recommend him. They have their own sleep lab. Good luck! --Janie

Does anyone know if Medicaid will pay for a data capable machine?

Also do you know of a good DME?

    Thanks
