Have you tried the Hybrid or the Liberty full face masks? They are a combination of nasal pillows and full face masks and some find that they like those masks and do not have a problem with feeling claustrophobic while using them. I have tried the Hybrid, but not the Liberty. I have been told that the Liberty has a tendancy to break at the elbow and not as durable as the Hybrid.
You may want to try taping your mouth. Use some sensitive tape, many find that the blue painters tape works well, others use medical grade tape for sensitive skin. Put chapstick on your lips, roll them in, place the tape horizontally over your mouth, extend out from the corners of your mouth a ways and turn the edges under for a quick release grip. Others use the tape vertically and place two or more strips going up and down.
Still others use Polident strips. Cut the strips to fit your mouth, moisten your lips and apply. Your mouth is easily open, yet seals your mouth to prevent leaks.
Others use the legs off from panty tights (more durable than the hose) and cup their chin in the middle and tie the tights up on their heads.
Try some of the suggestions and see if you can find one that works for you. Sleep apnea has serious consequences if left untreated. Even mild cases can wreck havoc on your body. Look at it this way, you wouldn't let someone smother you many times a night and that is what apnea does to you.

What is your pressure?
What machine was you given?
What type of mask did you try?
Maybe we can help.

Good luck.
