I am glad you are jumping in and providing some thought provoking comments to the forum!!
I may sound harsh and down on DME's -- actually the great ones are wonderful -- it is just frustrating to have those that aren't so great. I live in a rural area and limited on my choices of sleep doctors (one choice in a 75 mile radius) and DMEs.
It it my belief that if we can provide some insight and education for the end user they will be better off.
I feel education is the key to getting people to recognize that sleep apnea is a very deadly afflication that is easily treated -- if they are educated enough to know what is in store for them.
