You probably are going to have to turn the humidifier down but first try to cover all the tubing -- even on the nasal mask except for the pillows themselves.
If you can afford it there is a heated hose made in Australia that sells for approximately $175.00. You can find it on line if you google Aussie Heated Cpap Hose. If you are interested and can't find it let me know.
Can you say more about what you mean by "got used to it"?
I don't mind using the cpap but the sleep I get is so bad that the next day is terrible much worse than a typical day. During your first week did your quality of life go down or was it that you had some discomfort from the mask but got a better nights sleep anyway?
