Have you tried to address the leg movements?

Cpap isn't going to necessarily help those and Provigil will only mask the problem. I would work with the doctors and try to address the leg movements to see if that helps.

That's not enough. The average person needs 7-8 hours of sleep. Prior to starting PAP your sleep was less than quality. For this reason you built up sleep debt that needs to be paid off. Sleeping the same amount will not do this. Try sleeping an extra half hour for 2 weeks.

I have found a website--theusarx.com--that promotes a Provigil generic. It claims to be a US pharmacy and Provigil generic is offered at approx. $1.50 per pill. That would be fabulous.

Has anyone heard about a qualified Provigil generic? Has anyone tried a Provigil

I know this is not the best solution, but there are other drugs available for excessive daytime sleepiness and perhaps your doctor can give you a break and prescribe one of these. Provigil gave me my life back, I feel your pain. There are also meds for restless leg syndrome which may help you get better sleep.
