I have been using a nasal mask for 15 months and worked my way through all the issues that using a cpap throws at all of us. I now have a new issue that I haven't been able to solve and would appreciate any help. I have a top denture plate that I sleep with and lately the piece of skin between my top lip and gum ulcerates badly, I tried using mask without teeth in and it leaks all night, I took a long time to find the nasal mask was just right so I don't really want to use a full unless I have to. A

Val, I think your mouth ulcers cause by bacteria with intake air through your mouth in asleep, because you suffer from gum pain that may result from inflammation with said Bactria. If you could stop with mouth open during sleep and protect saliva from drying inside mouth, both mouse ulcers and gum pain will blow over for approx. 4 weeks, and bleeding from gum as well. Actually saliva has strong bacteria-killing action, but intake air with mouth breathing is drying it out.
