I haven't had a chance to read all the suggestions, but I like this one...

"Slaps" = SLeep APnea(S)

I'm also late so you might already have one chosen. Take care everyone and have a good week ahead.
Okay, I just read them all and I do like SAD as it describes the people that have not yet been diagnosed or haven't been able to adjust to their equipment.

Apneic has worked for me for almost a decade.

If further explanation is needed, well, then something like, "It means I stop breathing a few hundred times each night during sleerp -- if not treated -- due to a serious health condition known as sleep apnea. It is a sleep disorder linked to a wide variety of serious health issues, including greater risk of heart attacks, stroke, hypertension, sexuasl dysfunction, among others."
