Mark Monroe Akers, Have your doctor do a blood panel workup on you. Fasting Blood test checking blood sugar levels, thyroid and all vitamin levels. I was severely vitamin deficient in both the B's and D and after extreme supplementation my memory is coming back and so is my strength. Long term sleep deprivation and drug therapy for illnesses being treated instead of the Apnea (GERD, Diabetes, etc.) can cause these deficiencies. Your doctor may prescribe high doses of vitamins, but after make sure you supplement with a liquid plant based vitamin supplement product so that you never return to those levels. Good Luck to you!

Mike, I want to thank you for sharing this video with all the people. It's hard to watch for me, too. But this is a great lesson. I wanted to tell you that I posted your video on my website, on this page: http://www.sleep-apnea-guide.com/sleep-apnia.html. I hope it's ok for you.

I can't stop crying. I'm diagnosed severe too. I will NEVER sleep without CPAP again. This is just terrifying.........don't take this video down, Mike. It's the first time I've truly understood, but GOD, it's painful to watch.

This is apnea .... What you can not see is that his Heart is accelerating as the Oxygen in his blood is decreasing. He moves and snores loudly which can be increasing blood pressure. His Brain waves would be showing arousal and disruption of his sleep. With low Oxygen and increased blood pressure he is at risk of cardiac arrhythmias, stroke, sudden cardiac death and the most feared by men….Impotence. His brain maybe sending out chemical to flush his kidneys so that he will awaken go void thus re-oxygenating. His brain may also send out adrenalin to wake him up so he will sit up and breath….

One of the contributing factors of my beautiful sister Lisa's death was sleep apnea. She was only 35. Please. It's not a joke. You are irreplaceable. There will never be another Lisa. There will never be another YOU. Take measures now to ensure you and your loved ones are educated, tested, and treated for sleep apnea.
