With all do respect, we were not recommending treatment or giving a prescription for treatment over the blog. We were simply stating that there are alternatives to the CPAP machine. According to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine an Oral Device is recommended as the first line of treatment for mild to moderate sleep apnea. This is not our opinion just restating the information documented. We did not mean to offend anyone or to advertise in anyway. Sorry if this came across the wrong way. Hope everything works out.

Allison, glad you're finally getting your follow up. Unfortunately I think your experience is the norm. The doctor has to get the results look them over, dictate a report, and sign off on it before they see you. Only my experience mind you. It's funny how their lack of urgency can contribute to the feeling that sleep apnea is no big deal.
