Thanks Kath. My sister in law in USA says someone in her self help group who tried everything else ended up with a total FFM. My sleep tech in Oz has never obtained one to try as we both agree they look so overwhelming. Perhaps when I report your positive experiences as well she will now do so. I am currently using a Chiroflow pillow (water base, conventional pillow top). It works better than any of my previous pillows but it sounds like the FitLife might require the newer design pillow you mention on your site.
A few people have recommended the FitLife FFM but I can not stand leaks and air blowing in my eyes would not be acceptable. Can anyone comment on this particular aspect of this mask ?
Wow you have been busey ,Congradulations on your new forum.Looks good , Staying with singulair for now .....my gp is not enthuisastic about surgery ...not sure if its the surgon or the procedure he does not like. Good Sleep,Chris
Hi Kath, So you can use your machine and are getting better numbers .Thats good to hear. I just finished levaquin astepro and prednisalone, and started cingulair .The Dr's office messed up my blood work again .Went to an awake meeting this morning the Dr whom spoke was excellent soooo I think I 'll have him give me A look over.Good to hear you are progressing in a better direction.Good Sleep,Chris
Hi Kath, 6 days til your procedure...Best wishes and a speedy recovery to you! I went for more blood testing and started another round of anitbiotics with antihistamine and a steroid too.Still no luck on the lottery, stinks that you cant come across the pond .Good Sleep,Chris
Going to call the group SASH standing for " sleep apnoea self help " basically just a get together so people dont think there alone , and to swap ideas and tips on how to cope ,,iv had to struggle through some nasty periods of panic attacks and being scared to go to bed ,, and im sure im not alone ,,so any ideas and tips on how to make it a success would be great ,,
Thanks Kath, I've been thinking about you, but the days after the 5th jusst seemed to get away from me. Sometime you can get a pretty good deal on a FitLife on cpapauctio.com. Unless you really have a big face I suggest the small. It's really too small, but I make it work and so far there's no medium. Cpap.com has them sale price at $144. I don't know if as a dealer you can get a better deal elsewhere. I'm sure you've looked into it.
So glad the surgery on the turbinates went well and you had little pain.
Thanks for writing.

They don't have a mask setting on these machines for these new masks. I asked my DME and he said just to set it on standard mask. Your supplier may have an idea about that. It seems to me the larger volume area inside the mask could make a difference.
Good luck.
Hi, Kath, mine is not real quiet so you don't notice it's there, but my pressures are high. On the very bottom of the mask, under where the hose connections comes out, on the silicone there will be a S or L. I'm a medium, which they don't make. LOL. I hope you can get it all adjusted, it can be hard to separate the sound of leaks from the noise of the mask. I just feel around the edges with my finger for air escaping.

Hope it helps. Should be good after that kind of surgery.
