Hello fellow sufferers - my name is Russ. I am fairly new to SG but more than likely, I have endured very similar obstacles as you. I have always been a snorer and was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. I distinctly remember the first night I tried the CPAP machine that my MD insisted would help me. I awoke a few hours into the night with complete frustration – I was very uncomfortable, my mouth was dry, my jaw ached, and the side of my face was incredibly sore. I sat at the edge of my bed in the dark wondering how in the world I was going to manage this night after night. I felt as if I had been defeated.

Being semi-retired, you could say I have a little bit of time on my hands. I decided the very next morning that I was going to create a chinstrap for myself that would allow me to be compliant with my doctors (and my wife’s!) insistence on using my CPAP machine. I’m sure that no one will argue the fact that chin straps are not the most comfortable and flattering thing to wear but if I had to wear one then it better do its job! I tinkered in my utility room, trialing a variety of different materials and designs. After many nights and modifications, I was sleeping as sound as a baby. I am a very passionate person by nature and after experiencing the dramatic difference from the flimsy strap I was originally given to the strap I invented, I decided that I couldn’t just keep it to myself. I wanted others to experience the good sleep, comfort, moist mouth, and uninterrupted nights – that I had found through the use of my chin strap. I worked on getting a patent on my strap and then partnered with a local company inside the USA to manufacture what I call the “Ultimate Chin Strap” for both sleep apnea and snoring.

I am semi-retired and live in beautiful South Florida. I love enjoying my days helping others by sharing my experience. It amazes me how many people out there have endured the same symptoms and restless nights as myself but have failed to find a solution. Each time I receive a testimonial from a new friend who has tried my strap, I feel like I am doing exactly what I am suppose to be doing at this point in my life. Feel free to give me a call if you would like to try out one of my chin straps – you won’t talk to a customer service representative. You will talk to me and we can share stories.

What experiences have you had with using a chin strap?

I have heard mostly very good comments about this chin strap.  He gives a money back guarantee.  You can call and talk to him to make sure you get the right fit.  I know it looks barbaric, but I have read it's very comfortable.
