Hi Martha, glad the headache is better, but wish it was gone. It seems unusual for the humidifier to start using all the water for just the past two nights. Check and see if the level accidently got turned up. If this continues I would call the DME (whoever you got the machine from) and talk to one of the techs. There could be a fault in the heater and it would be simple to switch the humidifier out if it's broken.
Oh, Martha, I'm sorry it's not going well for you. It does take some getting used to and there can be so many problems that you have to tackle one by one. I have only been on CPAP for 3 1/2 years and the biggest problem I had was with the mask, so I have been lucky.
I'd be glad to try and help with any specific problems or questions.
However, I encourage you to start a new discussion with the details of what's going badly. You'll get a lot more feedback that way. There's not a lot of activity on the forum over the weekend. I'll be home so feel free to write me back if there is something I can help you with. The most important thing is to use the machine all night, every night, and for naps. If you're not able to do that let us help you get there.
Martha, as a fellow member of the forum I would like to welcome you to SleepGuide. I hope you find the discussions helpful, feel free to contribute and ask questions.
