S9 ResMed CPAP original models with bugs should be exchanged in my opinion.

After only 9 weeks I had to replace my defective S9. The S9 ResMed CPAP is defective. Exchange yours now. After only 9 weeks the fan started making loud noises on inhale/exhale. Lights stayed on and…Continue

Oh, I should also say it should be more valuable to you than an oximeter. :)

Garry, Here is a link for ResScan software downloadable free from ResMed: http://www.resmed.com/int/assets/html/service_support/resscan_software/resscan3.13-register.html?nc=patients . Your machine should have an SD card which is a card like the kind in digital cameras and can be read easily. All of the CPAPers I know who get the software are hooked on it and never want to do without it. It is a great way to make sure your therapy is effective and correct things if it is not. Ciao.

ResMed S9 AutoSet & Elite: Plug in machine and turn the Push Dial until the device is showing the Home position (Home Icon illuminated). In Home position, press the Push Dial and the Setup Menu buttons down simultaneously for 3 seconds. The clinician menu will appear. Select parameter(s) you wish to modify with the Push Dial (push down to select, turn to modify). When done, select the home choice from the displayed menu and the adjustment is saved. (complete manual available via email, below)

Does anyone know the clinic menu access process? Doc wrote initial pressure way too low. Like my old one is hold down right arrow + down arrow when turning on power. I just picked up a new S9 rig. Used the ResMed AutoSet Spirit for 15 years. I'll add my comment after a few nights use.
