A healthy social life is just as important to good health as anything else. I would like to know what everyone does for fun.

what's fun?
I try to stay active mentally and physically. Volleyball has become a huge social activity in my neighborhood. My brothers and I are very competitive in our relationships with one another. My brother Jess and I (The two oldest) have been playing strategy, video and roleplaying games together since before we were teenagers. I owe my wit and imagination to those sessions with him. My wife and i have developed a truly dynamic relationship. Time with her is always interesting. last but not least I LOVE to torment Kylie and Zoey.

I have also been known to enjoy getting drunk and making an ass out of myself. This is alway much more fun in reality than it is in story.
I have shows every few years with 50% of all sales going to childrens crisis centers and Men's Health issues.
D. W., excellent art!
I enjoy this forum, reading, gardening, walking and playing with my two dogs, feeding the birds, trying to keep up with my aquarium. I have swordtails who reproduce like crazy and enough java fern the babies live. Every few months I have to take a bunch to the pet store and trade them for fish food. I like pool volleyball, parties with good friends and food. Making and eating blackberry cobbler is a passion. My relationship is always a source of joy. I also like TV and a movie once in a while.

My Oldest daughter's artwork was just honored by the state. Her works are now on display in the Indiana State Capitol Building. They also honored me with a statue as you will see in the pictures I have provided.

I think your daughter's art is much better than the statue personally ;) And she's a cutie too! Must take after her mother I'm sure ;)

But seriously, your daughter is very good and I can see real talent as my wife is an artist-painter herself. You can check her work here (I did her Web site ;)

What I do for fun. I read a lot, a mix of technical books related to my work field (Web design and development as well as information architecture and user experience design) as well as novels and books related to spirituality (notice I didn't say religion...). I also still play an older game (the Thief series that was released around 1999-2000). There's a community of creators still building "fan missions" for the game (especially Thief 2) which is very rare for a 10 years old game (well, Thief 3 was released in '04 and they are working on version 4). But Thief 2 is still going strong and is still very immersive. Many of these fan creations have surpassed the original game both in terms of scope and quality. It's a world I still love going back to. Helps me release stress.

Of course, music is still important to me although I don't play nearly as much as I used to. And, like you, I have a great relationship with my wife so we talk a lot, spend time together, etc. After 18 years, our relationship is still the best thing in my life!

I just showed your daughter's artwork to my wife. She is VERY impressed. Says it is very stylized, composition is great as well as the color palette. And she would not be just saying... Awesome work!
