I just got my Swift FX yesterday. I'm down with a horrible cold (double ear infections, sinus infection and lung infection) and so have been trying to sleep a LOT lately. So even though I just got it I've slept with it a good 24 hours or so it seems.

I'm very happy with it! I was worried at first that I'd need to have it be able to be tighter on top, but actually I didn't. I just had to tighten the back strap. I can put the back strap under my hair, just like I did with the other swift models.

I was worried about the nasal pillows not swiveling like the other models, but it doesn't actually seem to be an issue. The silicone or whatever the mask is made of is very soft, but after my first nap using it I did go ahead and put on the padded covers that come with the mask to see how those worked. They're great. Made it even more comfortable.

One big improvement I think is the hose that goes from the nasal pillows to the cpap hose. It's super flexible, and much quieter than the swift LX hose was. It's not really geared to go up over your head (no clip to hold it up there like the LX) but I've had no trouble with it because it is so flexible. The mask itself is just as quiet or more quiet than the Swift LX too.

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes nasal pillows. Oh, and I still use the large pillows, same as with the other swift models. Pillow sizes seemed pretty consistent for me.

I'm still definitely enjoying mine! Now that I'm able to get more mask supplies the decision is do I ask for new pillows for my Swift LT or my new Swift FX... decisions decisions.
I just started using a CPAP almost a month ago now and chose the Swift Fx nasal pillow . I have used it every night all night with NO problems. now of course I have nothing to compare it it to, but it has done great by me.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am a twin, myself. (identical twin) My youngest sister also has identical twin daughters. As you may know, it's the fraternal twins which run in families, so it was really something when she had identical twins.
Thanks for the photos. That really helps me to visualize. I'm using a micro nasal mask. I wish I knew if this would be preferable. Are there any issues with air leaking out?

Thanks Rock. Not just pregnant, but pregnant with twins! I've already been fiddling with my pressure to adjust for gaining back that 40 pounds that I'd lost last summer. It's going to be interesting with all the fluctuations in weight. I'm thinking now is the time to see if I can score an APAP!

I put took some photos of myself in the mask in case that helps folks. These are pretty candid photos, no makeup and after a long day, so I won't be winning any photo contests! But thought they might be interesting.

Good for you. Glad it is working. Nothing seemed to work for me. Tried many different masks, hybrids. What I have finally settled on the last 8 months is a combination--Nasal Air II for my nose and an Oral 452 for my mouth. I took off the mouthpiece for the Oral 452 since it was so uncomfortable and replaced it with a snorkel mouthpiece. And low and behold it is a pretty good combination. I no longer feel claustrophobic, and don't have all those line on my face from the masks. I found a T attachment at Lowe's so I can connect both to my cpap machine. Pretty low budget. But similar setups, from what could find on the internet, cost over one grand .
The only issues with leaks I've had are if something is tugging the hose downwards I might get a little leak between the front of my nares and the pillows. Other than that, the large pillows seem to be a good match for me. And with the flexibility of the hose it's just usually not a problem that something pulls on the hose.

I do notice that if I let the pillows get...erm...greasy then they will leak some. But that's just because I'm lazy and don't wash them all the time. If they get that way then I just take off the pillows (it's just one piece) and wash it with baby body wash. I just shake it dry and dry the outside with a towel, put it back on and voila! Good for another good long time.

(Yes, I know I 'should' wash them every day, but seriously I just don't have the time nor energy to fit another routine in there when it just doesn't seem to make much difference.)
