I'm doing great everyone. Not financially though, but as far as the meds to keep me awake, doing great...100 mg of Provigil is strong enough to prevent me from falling asleep behind the wheel and I have adjusted to my CPAP Machine. No more waking up with the hose around my neck or waking up without my mask. One time or a few times I fell asleep without my mask and I woke up with a sore throat. Going to Stanford Sleep Clinic to see Dr. Luu next week. I'm still strugging with getting to bed on time...there's so much to do after work. That's my only problem right now is getting to bed early enough to get 7 to 8 hours a sleep. Right now, I'm sleeping at 6 hours a night.

Fantastic, Victoria. So great to see your progress over the past several months. How's your little doggie handling things -- did you calm her down about the machine, and if so, how did you pull it off?
Woohoo Victoria!
Blackie's health is deteriorating. He has an enlarged Heart and he's on diaretics and enalapril. He's been coughing a lot. More frequent everyday. He finally calmed down and sleeps in his bed which is on my bed. He's not scared. As soon as I turn the machine on I hit the ramp button. I'm not sure if he will survive another Christmas, but he pulled through and he's doing ok right now. I'm working overtime this weekend which will throw off my sleep cycle, but it's worth it. 22 hours of Overtime woo hoo. 5am to 4pm. Wake up at 3:30am and get ready for 11 hours of Overtime.

very sorry to hear about Blackie's health. Losing a pet must be such an ordeal. I dread the day when I will have to face what you're up against with that.
