I'm trying to determine what software and peripherals I need to be able to track my stats.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to start looking?

Thanks!

Is there specific ResMed software and how do I find the right site to download it?

You need the ResMed software. Anything from 3.7 to 3.12 should work.  What kind of interface do you have for downloading?

A nine pin male? I'm not sure where to get the software.  If someone here doesn't know try cpaptalk.com

I believe it's a 9 pin male plug.  I looked the other day and I'm pretty sure that's what I saw.

Once you get the software you need a nine pin to usb nullmodem cable and a male to female adaptor.  You can use a null modem adaptor.  Should all be available at Radio Shack.

Hi Mary Z

My DME got the drop on this newbie to the wonderful world of OSA and sold me a very expensive BiPap machine $2,000+, a ResMed VPAP S. It is a very capable machine but I got none of the software that would allow me to take advantage of its advanced capabilities.

So am I in the same boat as Greg with his VPAP Adept SV machine? And if you know of sources for the softwar could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks, Tom

I would try cpaptalk.com for a link to the software.  They can also give you the info for the data cable if the have the nine pin male connector.  You did get a great machine.  Good luck.  If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
