I went to my doctor yesterday...He seemed real happy about my readings...
I found out my  pressuer...I stated out at 15/11...He is upping it to 16/12..
I hve no idea what it means or if it is bad or good...I love my Quattro...Full
Face Mask...The only problem I have is some nights I get to itching (my face)
Its a real mess as to reach the itch I have to remove my mask..Thursday my
therapy person is coming out to change the pressuer on my cpap machine..
She is also bringing out the ResMed Swift FX for her Nasa Pillows System and
Headgead..That way I'll have a back up for my itchy face on bad nights...

Charlene, getting your pressure changed up a little bit is not bad or good.  Everyone needs their own special pressure.  The pressure needed is not necessarily related to how severe your sleep apnea is. The 12 is your pressure on expiration and the 16 your pressure when you breathe in.  These are the pressures needed to keep your airway open. Your Apnea Hypopnea Index must have been a litle high for the doc to increase the pressure.  The increase should result in you feeling better.  The ideal AHI is under 5.  Depending on your machine you can check these numbers yourself.  Glad you're doing ok with the mask and are going to get some alternative masks.

The hard part is consistently using the machine and if the doc is happy with you obviously you are doing that.  Good work.

Keep us posted.
