Off Topic mostly: How to create a form to type in?

Sorry to post this here.
I'll ask moderator to delete in a couple days so it does not trash up the board.
It is sleep related (but only to me) because of doctor request.

QUESTION: How do I turn a Word Perfect page into a fill in form that will hold it's shape when I type?
Is question understandable?

I have a Word Perfect page with a table of 8 by 4 blocks (like a blank calendar). The size of blocks takes up 2 pages. Within the blocks I need to type a food journal (and other medical things) but I am tired of all the blocks changing in size when I type. I have a spot for morning blood glucose, food intake, and notes like last night when SLEEPonset was impossible! grrrr
I figured if I could freeze page into a fill in blank form I could go to it daily and type in info without having to FIX boxes every time.
Anyone familiar with how to do this?
If so is it easy enough to explain here to someone who is not a puter whiz by any means (me)?
THANKS
Barbara

Barbara, this seems to be as close to your question as I can find, but I didn't read through it so don't know if it will help:

Thanks for the speedy reply :o)
Your link works for a MAC only. Poor me... no MAC here. I have a PC.
But THANKS BUNCHES for your attempt.
Barbara
SInce we are off topic, I think you should get a Mac. SMILES.
Barbara,
I went to Word (sorry not Word Perfect) Help section and typed the same querry Dee did but substituted PC for MAC and got 5 pages of directions. It looked way too tedious for me at 10pm. I have used Excel for years to log date, time and two blood pressure readings on a daily basis with a section for Comments and it has worked really well. The boxes won't change size unless you want to expand them.

Thanks everyone
I will make another attempt at this. I must have found those same pages (so complicated).
I am really good at copy/paste and drag/drop. Other than that, well...... not so savy.
OK, off to try the Word help section.
THANKS!!!
Barbara
P.S. Lets start a "donation post" for all those who want me to get a new MAC. I LOVE THE IDEA!!! LOL LOL
