Hi everyone,

I finally got my cpap last friday. I got the Philips Respironics, and using the ResMed Mirage Micro mask. I seem to have adapted a lot better then I thought I would. The mask has not flown across the room yet... LOL... I have been 100% compliant. It took a few hours the first night to get the mask just right, then a few minutes the second night. It's been smooth sailing since then. I am so excited about that, I was really expecting to not adapt so quickly.

Last night I woke up with this horrid headache on the right side of my face and head. I could not stand the mask to even be on. After taking aspirin and Sudafed I was able to stand it after about an hour. I am thinking this is from my cold though.

I am surprised that I have not remembered any of these vivid dreams that I am told that you get when you first get a cpap. I don't remember anything. Does this mean that I am not reaching REM?
