has anyone tried sleeping on a massage table with their head in the cradle headrest in order to advance the tongue using gravity?  i was on a massage table today and i put my head in the cradle headrest, and i realized how my tongue naturally advances towards the floor.  i can't sleep on my stomach in bed because of a back and neck injury -- i can't turn my head left or right.   i wonder if anyone has tried sleeping on a massage table?  thanks, eric.

I does sound a little uncomfortable?

Wouldn't have thought of trying to sleep on a massage table.  They are very comfortable for a massage, but I like to move around in bed at night and never sleep on my stomach.  You could probably modify a pillow to achieve the same essential position and accomodate a mask.

I would not have thought to sleep on one -- although  the idea doesn't sound appealing to me.

Love having a massage but don't think I could sleep like that at night.  Wish it would work, though.  I HATE, HATE my chin strap.  Is making my neck quite painful.  So one thing is helped but it harms another!!!

That is a brilliant idea, Eric!  I NEVER would have thought of it!  And I think that Mary is on to something.  Maybe you could modify a memory foam pillow or use one of those C shaped neck pillows?
