Sleep Apnea Forum Bringing Power to the People

Ugh...so I'm using the Comfortlite2 mask which I really like overall...partly because there are no straps on my cheeks. Getting a nasty indentation in my forehead that takes all day to go away...any suggestions? I've heard of cushion/pads for cheek straps...is there something like that for the forehead?

Hello,
Yes there is a Forehead pad for that very mask on my website. If you want to go to www.padacheek.com and you can see what I have to offer. Just so you know, there is help.

When I got my full face mask last week I was horrified at the bruise-like pain I was having on my forehead every day! But I found a very soft hand towel in my bathroom cabinet and folded it a few times and placed it on my forehead under the brace. Sometimes I even possition it so I can pull it down over my eyes like a eye mask and blocking out all the light makes me sleep even better! :D

Even a wash cloth folded a few times would likely fix your problem. Good luck!

I too have that problem. I just hate it. I admit it is a vanity problem for me. I see a lot of people during the day. The last time I had my hair cut, I had my cosmetologist give me bangs to cover it.

I have a large, full beard and have no problems with leakage with a nasal mask. My problem is that the mask crushes my mustache and makes part of it stick straight out, and I have to use very stiff mustache wax to hold it down.. Unlike a gas mask,…

I watched the show yesterday (it was TiVo'd) and I think that Dr Oz did a reasonably good job in showing and explaining OSA, although the sleep doctor he had on was useless. He put far too much emphasis on weight and neck size as a characteristic of…
