Combination Therapy - Oral Appliance & Provent Nasal Device

Was wondering if anyone has considered or tried a dual approach of using an Oral Appliance, ie Somnomed and a Nasal Device like Provent?

Does this sound like a good or bad idea?

If you already have the Somnomed, Provent ( a while back) was offering through your doc a seven day trial for $10.  It would be an interesting experiment.  I get a stuffed up nose often at bedtime so I don't think Provent is an option for me. Just sounds like an interesting dual approach, not a bad idea.  Let us know if you try it and it works.
Hey Mary - Have you had a good ENT look at your nose?  I live close enough to Dr. Park so actually am his patient.  He did deviated septum surgery on me.  While it hasn't cured my apnea, it has made me feel better all-around.  The next step for me would be something like the DNA Appliance - if it actually works.  I'm waiting to hear from some patients on it and hear some hard numbers of AHI/RDI improvement from credible sources other than random pages/websites.
Yes, I've been to a good ENT who said everthing looked alright.  Thanks for the idea, though.
